Rare Earths Strategic Minerals Metallurgical & Technology Solutions
- ABOUT RESCMM GEO RECYCLING
At RESCMM & Tech Solutions Pvt. Ltd., we are driving the future of the circular economy through our state-of-the-art Integrated Critical Mineral Recovery & Recycling Initiative. Operating an advanced, multi-tiered infrastructure network, we bridge the gap between advanced academic research and industrial-scale execution to secure India’s critical mineral supply chain.
Our ecosystem spans an integrated four-unit framework engineered for seamless scaling:
- Advanced R&D Facility: Collaborating directly on-site at IIT Hyderabad.
- Lab-Scale Optimization: Where initial process chemistries are designed and verified.
- Bench-Scale Validation: Ensuring precision engineering and optimization of extraction streams.
- Commercial Pilot Operations: Based at our central Hyderabad Hub, driving high-volume resource recovery.
- Our Processing Methodology
We utilize a highly sophisticated, eco-friendly Hybrid Mechanical + Closed-Loop Hydrometallurgical Route. This process minimizes energy consumption while maximizing element purity:
- Automated Mechanical Phase: E-waste and feedstock undergo precision dismantling, crushing, and physical separation (magnetic, eddy current, and density separation) to cleanly isolate high-grade Black Mass.
- Hydrometallurgical Extraction: The isolated Black Mass undergoes closed-loop chemical leaching and solvent extraction (SX) to selectively isolate target ions without atmospheric emissions.
- Targeted Feedstocks & Resource Recovery
To ensure maximum environmental compliance and focus, our facility strictly processes clean, high-value end-of-life streams, completely excluding non-ferrous hazardous industrial origin manufacturing scrap:
- Lithium-Ion Batteries (LIBs) from electric vehicles and consumer electronics.
- Permanent Magnets (E-waste / NdFeB streams).
- Catalytic Converters.
Through this focused approach, our facility achieves industry-leading recovery rates for key elements, including Lithium, Nickel, Cobalt, Tin, Platinum, Neodymium, and Palladium, alongside an optimized 90% target recovery yield for Graphite Concentrate.
- Capacity & Technical Governance
- Annual Throughput: Engineered for a total regulatory equivalent capacity of 5.15 KTPA.
- Environmental Classification: Officially designated as an Orange Category facility due to our clean, low-emission hydrometallurgical processing (entirely avoiding pyrometallurgical smelting).
- Water & Utility Management: Operating in strict alignment with state pollution control directives, our facility bypasses standard effluent generation by routing process water directly to dedicated Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETP), supporting regional sustainable water management.
- Premier Technology Partnerships
Our extraction methodologies are developed alongside India’s leading scientific institutions. We have officially executed our Technology Transfer Agreement with IIT Hyderabad, with secondary technology validation frameworks actively under process with C-MET and IIT Roorkee to maintain an elite, legally verified technical standard.
